Top 5 NFC Teams Heading Into Week 11

We have picked out the top 5 teams in the AFC, so it’s now time for the NFC. The AFC has a lot of interesting things going on, but so does the NFC. They have three teams with 2 losses and two with 3 losses. With that, the race for the #1 seed and the only bye will be intense as the weeks goes by. The Cardinals have lost two of three, but Kyler Murray didn’t play in those last two games. If Aaron Rodgers didn’t miss the game because he tested positive for Covid, the Packers could be on a 9-game winning streak. With Dallas, they probably have the most explosive offense in the league. All three could make a case for the best team in the NFC. Let’s see who the top 5 teams in the NFC are heading into Week 11.

Green Bay Packers

This is a tough one to pick, but I’m going with the Packers as the best team in the NFC as of now. As we all know, Aaron Rodgers is the reigning MVP and has enough weapons to make a run. The running game is being led by Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon. They make a great combo as Jones is the shifty runner and Dillon the powerhouse. What’s surprising about this Packers team is their defense. The front seven has been playing lights and could give the other team’s offense trouble.

Dallas Cowboys

This was another tossup between the Cowboys and the Cardinals. Dallas has arguably the best offense in the league. Dak is playing at an MVP-type level besides the one game against Denver. The running game is great also as Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard make a great combination. Will Amari Cooper testing positive for Covid have any long-term affects? The defense is much improved, but they showed they can still give up points. In the game against Denver, they were dominated.

Arizona Cardinals

The Arizona Cardinals are hoping to get Kyler Murray and DeAndre Hopkins back this weekend. The Cardinals was the last team to finally lose a game this season. Kyler Murray was arguably the leading MVP candidate during that time. Murray injured his ankle in the loss against Green Bay and missed the last two games. If Arizona can pick up where they left off when Murray went down, they have the potential to be the best team in the NFC. Arizona got a tough road game against Seattle, which should be a good one.

Los Angeles Rams

The Los Angeles Rams comes in as the fourth best team in the AFC. The Rams are currently on a two game losing streak after losses to the Titans and 49ers. Matthew Stafford was arguably the frontrunner for league MVP before those two games. Stafford threw four picks in those two games, and they lost Robert Woods for the season with a torn ACL. The defense hasn’t been playing up to par as they have given up 59 points in two games. Wit the addition of Odell Beckham Jr., the Rams will continue to try to get him involved in the offense. The Rams are on a bye this week but travel to Green Bay next Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The 5th best team in the NFC are the defending champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs are dealing with injuries on both sides of the ball. They have lost two in a row against the Saints and Washington Football Team. Both of those losses were on the road, but they return home to face the New York Giants on Monday night. They will be without Antonio Brown and Gronk is a gametime decision. The Bucs have struggled on both sides of the ball. With Chris Godwin returning, this will give Tom Brady some help and add another target. The Bucs should win on Monday, but it won’t be easy because of the Giants tough defense.
